27.8.2021  EIBA: Have finalised hosting arrangements for its re-scheduled 2019-2020 National Finals at Nottingham IBC. In addition tickets need to be purchased in advance from EIBA. Tickets will go on sale from Tuesday 31st August 2021 and are £3.00 per day. There are options to purchase a whole event pass and weekly passes. Following the Government’s announcement on Monday that the Country will be moving to Step 3 of the roadmap out of COVID-19, the EIBA is pleased to confirm that Indoor Bowls Clubs can expand their activity from what is currently permitted under step 2. Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 4th January 2021 that we should all stay at home to help control the spread of Covid-19, the EIBA has closed its Head Office until the national review on 15th February 2021, for full details click here
6.1.2021 Note from EIBA: COVID-19 NATIONAL LOCKDOWN - 05.01.21
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 4th January 2021 that the Country is being placed into lockdown, it is with regret that all Indoor Bowls Clubs will not be permitted to open during this time.
We will provide further updates to our Member Clubs, Counties and bowlers as and when new information is available during the National Lockdown.

13.10.2021 It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of FREDA KELLER who previously played at Wey Valley IBC before moving out of the county. Mrs Keller was a Founder Member of SCWIBA in 1989 and in this inaugural year Surrey won the first ever Atherley Trophy. She was President of SCWIBA in 1990/1. Her funeral was on 23 October

It is with great sadness we have to announce the passing of MARY LITTLEWORTH who had been SCWIBA President 1997-8 and SCWIBA Match Secretary 1998–2006. She had been a founder member of Egham Indoors and is remembered fondly for her involvement in National Competitions with significant successes, as a member of the Club's Management Committee, and in many club projects.
